Frequently Asked Questions

When does the choir meet?
We meet each Tuesday in Raunds Library from 7-9pm, although we do occasionally take a break including at the end of each term,

so please do let us know in advance if you’re thinking of coming along.
You’re welcome to come to any rehearsal to see what it’s like, without making a commitment to join us. There’s no audition before you join us either.
Do I have to come to every rehearsal?
No, but we’d love it if you did!  Many of us have other commitments and it’s fine to work around those and come as often as you’re able to.
Do I need to be able to read music?
No, the choir is made up of a mix of those who do and those who do not read music, it makes no difference at all.
Do I need to pay to join?
There is a small fee to cover the costs of running the choir, but we would never want anyone to reconsider joining us because of their financial situation.  If you’re keen to come along but not sure you can cover the fee, please have a chat with anyone on the committee.
Fees can be paid monthly, termly or annually.
What if I can’t make the concerts?
That’s absolutely fine. There’s no obligation to attend everything.  Some of our members come because they enjoy the sing-along at rehearsals,
but don’t like to perform.
Is there an age limit?
Any over-18s are welcome, we have no upper age limit!

We’re a friendly bunch and would love to hear from you!
